Scott's Bio

Bio:

I began drawing at a very early age.  When I was two I found my mother's lipstick and used it to create beautiful murals all over the house, the butter, and my baby sister.  Like other artists before me, my work went unappreciated.  In high school that trend continued.  An ambitious mural project on the lockers, in black sharpies, was totally misunderstood by the administration.

Somehow I  managed to parlay those humble beginnings into a full-fledged career as a professional cartoonist.  I’ve had cartoons published by King Features-The New Breed, Honolulu Star-Bulletin, and various periodicals, as well as doing commission work for a variety of businesses.  Most of my work now is creating custom cartoons for businesses, while keeping my own projects going as well.

I enjoy the creativity that cartooning allows me.  It’s a great release for my ideas, and it’s a lot cheaper than therapy.
